Ipsen Wrexham Recognised as One of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in 2023

Ipsen Wrexham, a pharmaceutical company based in the UK, has been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in the large organisations category by Great Place to Work® for the first time in 2023. The award is based on anonymous feedback from employees, who deemed Ipsen Wrexham as a great place to work.

The Wrexham facility, known as Ipsen’s ‘neuroscience centre of excellence,’ was recognised for its exceptional workplace culture and commitment to employee wellbeing. Ipsen Wrexham has consistently prioritised employee wellbeing and was previously accredited as one of the Best Workplaces™ UK for Wellbeing earlier this year.

The company scored highly for diversity, ethnicity, inclusion, promotion of physical and mental health, camaraderie, employee pride, and comfort levels with job security. Ipsen Wrexham manufactures products that are exported to patients in over 90 countries.

Jeannette Brend, Site Head at Ipsen in Wrexham, expressed her pride in the company’s recognition as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™. She also acknowledged the hard work of Ipsen Wrexham’s employees, which allowed the company to continually grow and create new opportunities across the site.

The accolade was based on the results of employee surveys conducted by Great Place to Work®, which revealed that the employees value everything that goes into making Ipsen Wrexham a great place to work. The surveys showed that the employees believe there is fair treatment for age, race, sexual orientation, gender, and position at the company.

Furthermore, the employees reported feeling comfortable with job security, being proud to tell others they work at Ipsen, and promoting mental and physical health among the staff. Employee Engagement Lead Yvonne Linnane highlighted that this recognition is a morale-booster for the team and a testament to the company’s efforts to create a supportive work environment.
