Cheshire’s The Spa at Carden has added to its already expansive award collection, as it has been crowned ‘Best Spa in the Northwest’ at the 2022 Good Spa Guide Awards, the 13th regional Good Spa Guide awards.
The winners were decided following internal judging by The Good Spa Guide’s mystery shoppers – called Spa Spies – and an internal audit of its Bubble Rating system. The Good Spa Guide’s ratings are based on a selection of areas including a range of treatments, treatment rooms and changing facilities, whirlpool, steam room, the quality of staff and therapists, and food. The spa inspector also studied the standard of cleanliness and the overall experience.
The Good Spa Guide said of The Spa at Carden “Drawing inspiration from the tranquil 1,000-acre Carden Park estate, The Spa at Carden has carefully curated a range of treatments using natural botanicals to improve wellbeing in a separate wood and glass building. The extensive Spa Garden – with its pool, sauna, variety of hot tubs, glass pods, fire pit and Bollinger Bar – is spa nirvana.”
The annual awards ceremony took place on 28th November at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square and saw a total of nine winners honoured. All winners were presented with sustainable statuettes, made from recycled glass and bamboo. Spa Director Emma Pridding and Spa Operations Manager, Rebecca Barron were there to collect the award on behalf of the spa.
