Village Health & Wellness Clubs have always been quick to adopt the latest fitness trends. In anticipation of the ultimate fitness challenge, Village Gym is thrilled to announce its partnership with HYROX.
Village Gym is now an official HYROX training club, offering exclusive group classes and training for event challengers. These sessions are designed to improve endurance, strength endurance, power, and aerobic capacity, focusing on athletic performance.
The training programme is led by certified trainers who will provide professional support, offering structured fitness challenges and in-house competitions. Open to individuals over 16 with a basic fitness level, it’s an excellent opportunity for those seeking a new challenge.
Launched in Germany in 2017, HYROX is a global fitness race open to people of all abilities and backgrounds. Combining running with eight strength and endurance workouts, it pushes participants to their limits. It has rapidly become the fastest-growing fitness event worldwide, with competitions in more than 11 countries and over 30 cities.
The competition is split into categories such as HYROX Women/Men, HYROX Pro Women/Men, HYROX Doubles, and HYROX Team Relay, ensuring there’s something for everyone, regardless of fitness level.
Village Gym’s new partnership with HYROX enables the club to offer competitive, engaging training that aligns with its mission to help individuals of all fitness levels achieve their goals. For those not yet ready for the full HYROX race, Race Sim events will start later this year, beginning at Village Gym Manchester, Ashton on 10th November, with additional events in Birmingham and London in early 2025.
