Gate Insure Outlines How Its Digital Motor Insurance Service Stands Apart in the UK Market

WEST BERGHOLT, ESSEX. July 15th, 2026. Gate Insurance Brokers Limited, trading as Gate Insure, has highlighted the features that distinguish its specialist digital motor insurance proposition from larger insurers, national broker groups and mainstream online insurance providers operating throughout the UK.

Motorists have access to insurance through a wide variety of providers, including direct insurers, brokers, online businesses and specialist intermediaries. Gate Insure has developed its offering with a specific focus on motorists whose insurance needs may not always fit a standard approach.

The Essex company concentrates on private motor insurance for customers who may benefit from greater flexibility during the quotation process. This includes younger drivers, motorists with penalty points or previous convictions, individuals with limited or no No Claims Discount, and customers whose circumstances may sit outside conventional underwriting models.

Gate Insurance Brokers Limited is an insurance intermediary rather than an insurer. Cover is arranged through authorised insurers and underwriting partners, with quotations based on factors such as driving history, vehicle type, postcode, occupation, annual mileage, intended vehicle use and previous insurance experience.

Its online platform allows customers to obtain quotations, access policy documents and manage important insurance information digitally. Documentation provided includes the Certificate of Motor Insurance, Policy Schedule, Insurance Product Information Document and full Policy Wording.

Some younger motorists who meet the relevant underwriting requirements may also be offered quotations without the need for a compulsory black box or telematics system. This option is not available in every case but can provide additional flexibility for qualifying drivers.

Depending on the policy chosen, comprehensive cover may include protection against accidental damage, fire and theft, third-party liability, windscreen claims, personal accident benefits and an uninsured driver promise. Optional benefits may include breakdown cover, motor legal expenses, courtesy car provision and enhanced personal injury cover where applicable.

A spokesperson for Gate Insure said: “The UK motor insurance sector includes many different providers, each serving different sections of the market. National insurers deliver scale, while specialist brokers often focus on specific customer requirements.

“Our focus is on creating a straightforward digital insurance experience for motorists who may feel overlooked by traditional routes. We aim to help customers understand the options available and arrange cover suited to their individual needs.”

The company encourages motorists to compare insurance policies on more than price alone. Customers should also consider policy excesses, payment costs, levels of cover, optional features, eligibility conditions and the quality of customer support before purchasing.

Gate Insure is a trading name of Gate Insurance Brokers Limited. The business is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under Firm Reference Number 839588 and arranges insurance through authorised insurers rather than underwriting policies itself.
