The Group That Makes Budweiser, Stella Artois, And Corona Has Inked A 20-Year Contract With Pub Chain JD Wetherspoon

Additionally, JD Wetherspoon will make several changes to its beer and cider offering. Beer giant Budweiser, which makes Stella Artois, Budweiser and Corona, has inked a 20-year agreement with pub chain JD Wetherspoon to make its company’s largest beer supplier.

The contract with Budweiser Brewing Group, a subsidiary of AB InBev, also covers Leffe Blonde and Bud Light, Mike’s Hard and Seltzer Bathtub Gin, and Bud Light Seltzer.

Furthermore, it will also see traditional ciders Strongbow and Strongbow Dark Fruits, substituted by Stowford Press Apple and Stowford Press Mixed Berries, produced by Westons Cider.

Also, Worthington’s bitter, supplied by Molson Coors, will replace John Smith’s bitter. Therefore, all these changes will come into effect from December 15 regularly.

Wetherspoon has also recently signed on long-term contracts with existing suppliers BrewDog, Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Corporation and Molson Coors.

Paula Lindenberg, Budweiser Brewing Group president, commented: “We are so pleased to expand our relationship with JD Wetherspoon.
