Contact Sport partners with Medicash to boost business wellbeing

Businesses in Liverpool City Region can now get support for their team wellbeing programmes through a new partnership.

Contact Sport is working with the Medicash Health and Wellbeing Group to offer its members access to a huge range of services.

Medicash delivers staff benefits through its corporate health plans and works alongside its sister company, Health @ Work, to support businesses to enhance their health and wellbeing provisions.

“We see Contact Sport as a valuable wellbeing resource for organisations, linking business development with health and activity,” said Rosie Kenyon, managing director of marketing agency Kenyons and co-founder of Contact Sport.

“Our partnership with Medicash really enhances our offering in this area, as we continue to build our membership and develop the scope and range of our business.

“We aim to make 2022 a year of fast growth for Contact Sport, and our work with Medicash will be a key part of our business development.”

The new partnership will provide Contact Sport members with free access to Medicash’s mProve YOURSELF app, with over 100 exercise guides and instructional videos, yoga routines, breathing exercises, mindfulness courses and meditations.

Paul Gambon, Sales and Marketing Director at Medicash, said: “We’re very pleased to be partnered with Contact Sport, providing its members access to a range of valuable resources to improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

“Working alongside Contact Sport will allow us to reach more businesses across LCR – as well as the rest of the UK – giving them the tools to invest in the wellbeing of their workforce.”

Contact Sport’s work with Medicash sits alongside its existing partnership with Everton in the Community, whose focus is on providing bespoke teambuilding workshops and mental health awareness training.

Rosie Kenyon added: “With companies increasingly conscious of the importance of wellbeing, Contact Sport is providing businesses with an avenue to support both the mental and physical health of their employees.

“Alongside our corporate programme, we’re supporting business development through our networking events, with activities ranging from boxing and beginners’ golf to yoga and climbing – as well as less active socials.”
