20 Stories celebrates National Vegetarian Week with private dinner in partnership with Manchester Gin

Manchester’s highest restaurant is celebrating National Vegetarian Week with a one-off event dedicated to vegetarian food and drink in their private dining room on Thursday 19th May.

Recognised Executive Chef, Daniel Scott, has designed a five-course tasting menu, each course of which will be perfectly paired to a Manchester Gin cocktail curated by the creative minds of the 20 Stories bar team.

This immersive experience will include an arrival drink and an introduction by a Manchester Gin ambassador followed by a flavour-pairing explanation from the 20 Stories bar team allowing guests to explore the relationship between their food and drink.

The tasting menu will include a Broccoli soup with green habanero and lime paired with a citrusy Manchester Gin cocktail to start the night, followed by four more courses. Amongst those, we can find a main course consisting of Jersey royals with leek, crème cru, baked potato and onion seed crisp to be enjoyed along with a herbaceous Blackberry Infused Manchester Gin cocktail with coriander and rosemary.

To end their night, guests will be able to enjoy a Pressed pineapple dessert with textures of coconut paired with a Vanilla and white chocolate ganache cocktail featuring Raspberry Infused Manchester Gin.

The dinner will start at 6:30pm and is priced at £50 per person.
