Korean Pavilion to Present Innovative Agro-Food Products at SIAL Paris 2024

The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation invites visitors to discover 76 dynamic Korean food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the leading food innovation exhibition, marking its 60th anniversary this year.

Taking place from 19th to 23rd October 2024 at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte, the Korean Pavilion will be a highlight of the event. Organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), the Pavilion will feature 76 innovative Korean companies showcasing a range of health-oriented, eco-friendly products aimed at international buyers.

Spread across Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), the Pavilion will offer a variety of traditional and contemporary Korean foods. Visitors will find everything from fermented sauces, Kimchi, noodles, and ready meals to drinks, Ginseng, and vegan items, catering to the rising demand for sustainable and plant-based products.

Korean Food on the Rise in Europe

Korean food has seen increasing popularity in Europe, known for its balance of health benefits and flavour. Retailers such as Carrefour and Monoprix now stock a wide range of Korean products. SIAL Paris provides a unique opportunity for visitors to sample these products, interact with producers, and form business connections.

The focus on healthy, plant-based options in Korean cuisine has found a growing audience in Europe, particularly with the rise of veganism. The appeal of Korean food extends far beyond its well-known Kimchi, as its versatility continues to attract chefs and consumers alike.

Showcasing the Diversity of Korean Food at SIAL Paris

Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director at aT Center Paris, said: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”

Celebrating its 60th year, SIAL Paris is the world’s premier food innovation exhibition, expected to attract 285,000 visitors from over 200 countries. The event provides a significant platform for Korean companies to promote their products to a global audience.
