Carplus has announced a new collaboration with Marshmallow, adding the fintech company to its lending panel and improving options for those new to the UK.
Marshmallow, founded in 2017, made its name by changing how car insurance is assessed for newcomers, incorporating international driving records. It has since expanded into lending, applying the same inclusive and data-focused approach.
With Marshmallow now onboard, Carplus can better assist customers whose UK credit files may not fully capture their financial history, increasing their chances of securing car finance.
Roman Danaev, Founder of Carplus said: “Marshmallow has already changed how insurance works for this group, and we’re proud to be working with them to do the same for car finance. Their mission is now ours too: making car finance accessible for people who have recently moved to the UK. This partnership marks another step in our journey to help more customers across the UK get on the road.”
This partnership supports Carplus’s long-term objective of widening access to finance. As more people arrive in the UK for work, education and family reasons, the need for fair and flexible financial solutions continues to grow, with both companies committed to reducing barriers linked to limited UK residency.
