From Botanical Passion to Clinical Practice: Green Gold Clinic Launches New Website in Kent

KENT, UK, October 8, 2026: A lifelong interest in plants and natural ingredients has helped shape the career of Kent herbal medicine practitioner Maria Shahin, who has now launched a new website for Green Gold Clinic. The online platform marks the latest stage in the clinic’s development, offering visitors an introduction to its services and a convenient way to explore consultation options.

Green Gold Clinic is based in Kent and led by Maria Shahin, a fully accredited and professionally insured practitioner of Western Herbal Medicine. The new website has been introduced to improve access to information about the practice and includes a complimentary five-minute discovery consultation for prospective patients.

The clinic also collaborates with corporate employers who want to support their staff’s wellbeing and improve productivity. Maria works with clients on areas such as stress, menopause, andropause, hormonal health and metabolic wellbeing.

Maria’s journey towards herbal medicine began long before she entered formal training. As a child, she developed a strong interest in plants and botanical ingredients, experimenting with different scents and natural mixtures in her spare time.

This early fascination eventually informed a professional career in the perfume industry, where she spent more than 20 years working with plant-derived ingredients and exploring their characteristics.

Her transition into clinical herbal medicine followed years of professional experience and personal interest in the natural world. After living and working in the United States for three years, Maria returned to England in 2019 to continue her professional development.

She went on to complete her clinical herbal medicine studies in the UK and has been fully qualified since 2023. Her experience in herbal medicine now spans more than a decade.

Through Green Gold Clinic, Maria works with adults aged 18 to 80, particularly those seeking support as they navigate health concerns associated with midlife. Consultations provide time to review each patient’s health history, nutrition, supplement use and acute or chronic medical conditions.

Maria is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, the UK’s leading professional organisation for medical herbal practitioners. Her qualifications involved academic study alongside supervised clinical practice, preparing her to work with a wide variety of health concerns.

The launch of the new website brings together information about Maria’s background, the clinic’s approach and the services available to prospective patients.

“Launching the website is an important step in making it easier for people to understand what clinical herbal medicine involves and how consultations can support their health needs,” said Maria. “For many people, the first challenge is knowing where to find reliable information, and the website helps provide that starting point.”

The development comes amid continued public interest in herbal medicine and approaches to health that consider lifestyle alongside individual needs. Digital platforms are increasingly useful for practitioners who want to explain their services and help people access relevant information before arranging an appointment.

Maria believes that understanding each person’s circumstances is central to her work, and the new website gives visitors an opportunity to explore this philosophy before deciding whether to seek a consultation.

“My experience through study, clinical training and professional practice has reinforced the importance of taking an individual approach to health,” she said. “The website enables patients to learn more about that process and decide whether a consultation may be appropriate for them.”

Looking ahead, Green Gold Clinic aims to expand awareness of its services across Kent. The website provides information for people interested in herbal medicine prescriptions, nutrition and supplement advice, and exercise guidance.

As the clinic continues to evolve, the online platform is expected to provide a key point of contact for established patients and those discovering the practice for the first time.

The website can be accessed at greengoldclinic.com.
