The Bull & Bear at Stock Exchange launches new set menu in line with six-day opening

Manchester’s The Bull & Bear is set to return to opening six days a week from the 17th May. The restaurant from renowned chef Tom Kerridge, set within Stock Exchange Hotel, is also introducing a new set menu for weekday lunches and early evening.

Created by recently appointed Head Chef, Connor Black who arrived in Manchester from Marlow, where he was Sous Chef of Tom Kerridge’s The Hand & Flowers, the set menu features a selection of Tom’s signature British classics and will change in line with the seasons.

The new set menu is available as two courses for £24.50 or three courses for £29.50, with a choice of three dishes for each course. It will be available between 12:00-14:30 Thursday-Saturday as well as Tuesday to Friday between 5:30-6:30pm.

The menu will feature classic dishes such as Tomato Soup with Black Garlic Crème Fraiche as well as a B&B Caesar Salad. Mains include the iconic Deep Fried Market Fish and Chips alongside Baked Potato Risotto with Wild Garlic Pesto.

Desserts follow in the same vein with bold classic flavours and include a Lemon and Raspberry Fool with Viennese Whirl, Crème Caramel with Rum-Soaked Raisins or for those looking to end a meal with cheese, there is Lancashire Bomb with Plum and Chilli Chutney.

Ideal for leisurely lunches, before the theatre or ahead of exploring Manchester’s nightlife.
