The Vita Group’s Omar Khan Triumphs at 2022 Finance Awards North West

The Vita Group is thrilled to announce that Omar Khan, CFO, has been recognised for his outstanding achievements at the 2022 Finance Awards North West.

Pitched against peers from some of the UK’s most high-profile businesses, Omar triumphed in the Finance Director of the Year (over £200m turnover) category which recognised individuals whose strategic direction has positively impacted their team and company.

The prestigious awards event took place on Thursday 12th May at Old Trafford Football Stadium, Manchester, with many major brands and leading North West businesses in attendance.

Judges singled out Omar as an outstanding finance director with a demonstrable legacy of delivery in financial performance, leadership and management.

Since being appointed as The Vita Group’s Chief Financial Officer in 2019, Omar has developed and implemented a new strategy and value creation plan that has resulted in double-digit year-on-year top-line growth with significantly improved profitability.

As CFO, he has organically increased capital expenditure and innovation spend, helping boost The Vita Group’s capabilities and capacities while futureproofing the business to enhance its market-leading position further.

Commenting on the award win, Omar said: “It is wonderful to be recognised in this way and against such impressive competition. The Vita Group has supported me in every decision I have made, and I am delighted to have played a role in the success of our company.”

Ian Robb, chief executive of The Vita Group, added: “We are extremely proud of Omar and his accomplishments. This accolade is a testament to the hard work and commitment that he demonstrates every day and the goals he has helped us achieve. Being pitted against professionals from organisations such as United Utilities, Missguided, and The Very Group makes his win even more impressive.”
