Carden Park Hotel Unveils Latest Development to Become a World Class Destination

Cheshire’s multi-award winning Carden Park Hotel accelerates its ambitious growth strategy with the announcement of a £750,000 investment into its interior architecture with a new, stylish Morgan’s Bar and walnut crafted reception area.  This luxurious new development will be completed in February 2023 and has been designed in keeping with the other new and refurbished areas of the hotel, including the multi award-winning Spa at Carden opened in 2020, as well as The Vines fine dining restaurant and Goldie’s Lounge opened in 2021.

The newly refurbished reception will be transformed into a lighter and brighter welcoming space, reflecting a sense of arrival aligned with the hotel’s strategic vision to become one of the UK’s most luxurious destination resorts. It will feature a large reception desk which includes grand columns with bronze detailing behind. The entrance to the hotel, which was completed this year, exposes the reception area to beautiful natural light and has been designed to improve the flow of guests in and out of the hotel. Bespoke chandeliers, created by Porta Romana specifically for Carden Park will dress the ceiling, while British-made Wilton’s carpet with a design that is exclusive to the hotel will run from the reception through to Morgan’s Bar area.

Morgan’s Bar has been designed to reflect a cosy, club-like atmosphere with its dark, rich finishes and wood panelling throughout. A key focal point of the bar is a beautiful feature fireplace, which will be wrapped in the signature walnut panelling, creating a warming and comfortable place for relaxation. A bespoke light fitting will sit in the centre of the room and is positioned to reflect light onto the beautifully hand painted ceiling finish.

High quality products and finishes have been used throughout the designs to cement the timeless elegance and atmosphere of both newly refurbished spaces.

On the announcement of the new development plans, Director & General Manager Hamish Ferguson says; “We are delighted to be developing our hotel even further to meet and exceed our guests’ needs and expectations. From our world class spa facilities to our elegant fine dining, we are continually striving to enhance the customer’s’ journey with us. Our reception area is where guests create their first impressions, so it was important that we created a luxurious, welcoming, open space for them. Morgan’s Bar is the perfect place to relax and socialise, whatever the weather, and we are pleased to be able to provide a new and improved space for our guests to enjoy”.
