ROB BECK LAUNCHES ‘MESSAGE IN A BAUBLE’ CAMPAIGN FOR NWAA

Former Hollyoaks star Rob Beck is encouraging everyone to show their appreciation for the North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) during the festive season by supporting the charity’s ‘Message in a Bauble’ Christmas campaign.

The crew work tirelessly 365 days a year to provide enhanced pre-hospital care to patients where and when they most need it. This Christmas campaign allows everyone to show their thanks by heading to the NWAA website and leaving a message in one of the charity’s virtual baubles.

Acknowledging that it’s been a difficult year and that sometimes it’s not always possible to make a financial donation, this campaign gives everyone across the North West the opportunity to say thank you and pass their festive greetings onto the NWAA’s wonderful crew who will be working as usual over the Christmas period.

Messages are already starting to flood in and more than 700 have been received so far from former patients and supporters of the charity, both young and old.  The messages provide an invaluable boost to the crew and the NWAA is urging everyone across the region to show their support for the charity’s amazing team by getting involved.

Rob Beck said: “What’s brilliant about the bauble campaign is that it gives everyone the chance to communicate directly with the crew and the staff here at the air ambulance and tell them how amazing they are through one of these special digital baubles, it’s really important so that they know how much they are loved and appreciated.”

HEMS critical care paramedic Deborah said: “It’s really moving to read these messages and know that people are thinking of us while we are on our shifts over Christmas.”
