Affordable Personalised Number Plate Makes Ideal Father’s Day Gift Under £40

An expert in cars suggests that a personalised number plate starting from £39 could be the perfect gift for Father’s Day this year.

Jon Kirkbright, the sales director at Private Number Plates, specializes in buying and selling private registration plates. With over 56 million personalised number plates for sale, Private Number Plates prides itself on being an affordable number plate supplier, offering plates starting from just £39 plus VAT and transfer fees.

Father’s Day falls on June 18 this year, and Jon suggests that a private registration plate could be a fantastic gift for a loved one. Approximately 25% of Private Number Plates’ customers purchase plates for a third party, often for special occasions like Christmas or birthdays.

According to a Father’s Day buyer survey by Create Gift Love, almost half of shoppers (44%) budget up to £30 for gifts. Personalised presents are among the top five most popular gift categories for the occasion.

The survey also revealed that 78% of people find it difficult to come up with gift ideas for their fathers. Jon believes that a private number plate would be a thoughtful and personal gift idea that any parent would be thrilled to receive.

Private Number Plates also offers a transfer service, enabling the number plate to be valid on the vehicle from a specific date, such as June 18. They also provide delivery of physical number plates to the recipient’s door, making the process simple and convenient.

When looking to purchase private number plates, gift givers often seek plates that resemble names, initials, or meaningful words, as well as numbers that align with special events like birthdays.

While Private Number Plates offers a vast selection of number plates for immediate purchase, they also have a plate alert system in place to assist customers in locating a specific number plate if needed.

In addition to being a thoughtful gift, a personalised number plate could also serve as an investment if the recipient ever decides to part with it. Jon suggests that private number plates tend to double in value every three to five years, making them a lucrative investment opportunity.

Private Number Plates provides a free registration valuation service, allowing customers to easily assess the value of their number plates online.
