Notably, this innovation seamlessly integrates with existing building control systems, obviating the need for extensive hardware investments or costly control reconfigurations. This approach revolves around dynamically adjusting heating, cooling, lighting, and ventilation parameters based on real-time occupancy and environmental data, utilising learned models of human and asset behaviour. Promising results have shown potential energy savings approaching 60%, thereby significantly reducing carbon footprints and operational expenses.
Seamless Integration: A fundamental principle guiding Future Decisions’ approach is the integration of AI solutions into existing building infrastructure without necessitating costly upgrades, additional hardware, or rewriting building management system (BMS) logic.
Boosting Grid Stability: An ancillary benefit arising from optimising energy consumption within buildings is the positive impact on grid stability and generation capacity. The AI-powered solutions have the potential to anticipate peak demand surges, align green generation with building requirements, and thus direct demand towards cleaner supply during availability while minimising demand during peak pollution periods.
