DoTrust Complete Unveiled by Department of Trust to Revolutionise Safe Gambling Arena

The unveiling of DoTrust Complete by Department of Trust, a frontrunner in providing financial risk assessments for responsible gambling, marks a new era in the safe gambling domain. This pioneering platform offers comprehensive and seamless financial risk evaluations to facilitate every phase of a gambler’s experience.

Furthermore, the company is proud to announce Rank Group plc, a leading entity in the UK’s digital and terrestrial gaming market, as its inaugural client for this innovative service.

Historically, UK gambling operators had to engage numerous services to perform financial risk, affordability, anti-money laundering, and other regulatory and safer gambling evaluations on their clientele. This resulted in complex, costly procedures that degraded the player experience and led to significant regulatory fines due to subpar implementation. The anticipated amendments to the Gambling Act by the UK government, which are expected to mandate more regular checks for player vulnerabilities even at reduced spending levels, will exacerbate these challenges, necessitating seamless and precise evaluations.

DoTrust Complete enables operators to conduct all requisite assessments through a single interface, leveraging unparalleled public and proprietary data sources never before utilised in the gambling sector. This allows for the creation of bespoke risk methodologies and ensures complete auditability of decisions, aligning with regulatory demands and proportionality.

Michael Byrne, Chief Operating Officer at DoTrust, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are delighted to officially launch Complete ahead of the expected change in regulation this year. Operators now have a reliable, comprehensive and industry-first service they can rely on to meet all current and future requirements. Complete reduces friction for customers and increases certainty and efficiency for operators.”

Liam Smith, Director of Customer Operations at Rank Interactive, shared his insights: “Rank has always been at the forefront of consumer protection and are constantly seeking ways to improve our player experience within a safe environment. DoTrust Complete is the first tool we have found that has been specifically developed for gambling operators. The efficiency and degree of control which Complete gives is impressive and we are excited to leverage these capabilities in building our business.”
