Police search for missing Warrington man

Police are appealing for information from the public to help to locate a missing man from Warrington.

David Heapy (44) was last seen near to Warrington Hospital at around 3.20pm yesterday.

He is described as white, around 6’ tall, of slim build and has short brown hair.

David (pictured) was last seen wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and dark coloured shorts.

Inspector Nick Bamber said: “Officers have been searching for David for several hours, so far to no avail, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen David, or has any information in relation to his whereabouts, to get in touch with us.

“Although David was last seen near to Warrington Hospital, he also has links to the Latchford area, and so I would ask residents to check their CCTV or Ring Doorbell footage, which may assist in locating David.

“I would also like to appeal directly to David, please call us and let us know that you are OK.”

Anyone with information or footage that may help officers find David is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101, quoting IML 1878536.
