Police appeal for help to find missing Warrington man

Police are asking the public to help them locate a missing man from Warrington.

Mark Edwards (pictured) was last seen at around 9am on Tuesday, in the Fearnhead Lane area.

The 54-year-old man is described as white, around 6’ tall, of large build, has short brown hair, green eyes, and a grey beard.

Inspector Nick Bamber said: “We believe Mark to be in the Denbighshire area of north Wales, having travelled there in a dark blue Honda Jazz, with the number plate MC23 FZZ.

“I would urge any residents, walkers, and motorists in the Denbighshire area to please keep an eye out for Mark’s car, as we grow increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I’d also continue to urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen Mark since he went missing, or knows where he is, to get in touch.

“The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of him since he disappeared.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Mark, to ask him to get in touch.”

Anyone with information should visit the website, or 101, asking for Cheshire Police and quoting IML 1981778. Information can also be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
