The gripping new documentary 3 Peaks 3 Pots is scheduled to make its red-carpet premiere at ARC Stockton on 6 November 2025, forming a highlight of this year’s Tees Valley International Film Festival.
Helmed by acclaimed British filmmaker Paul Suggitt, the feature chronicles adventurer and businessman John Beamson—widely known as The CEO Adventurer—as he tackles one of Britain’s toughest endurance feats: climbing three legendary Yorkshire peaks and descending into three of the nation’s deepest potholes in one unbroken mission.
Combining sweeping views, subterranean footage, and the raw test of stamina, 3 Peaks 3 Pots delves into both the brutal physical challenge and the mindset required to persevere in extreme conditions. With themes of resilience, leadership, and personal growth, the film is an inspiring portrayal of grit at a time when perseverance has never felt more relevant.
“This isn’t just about adventure for adventure’s sake,” said John Beamson. “It’s about testing yourself in ways most people never will, in the dark, in the cold, when your body says stop but your mind has to find a reason to carry on. That’s where real growth happens.”
Shot across the rugged Yorkshire Dales, the production offers spectacular cave footage, candid conversations, and rare insights into the preparation and execution of such a punishing journey.
Festival organisers have described the documentary as a must-see premiere of 2025, shining a light on northern filmmaking talent and celebrating the Tees Valley’s growing reputation as a cultural hub.
