Deborah Maw Launches WildeStar Retreat Experience on the Isle of Anglesey

Deborah Maw, known for her work as a spiritual astrologer, teacher and retreat leader, has announced the launch of her first WildeStar Retreat, set to take place on the Isle of Anglesey.

The programme is intentionally limited to four participants and is designed for independent founders, coaches and business owners who have already achieved success yet recognise the possibility of deeper understanding and perspective.

“That intimacy is essential,” Deborah said. “This isn’t about scale. It’s about precision. About stepping away long enough to see clearly.”

The retreat is hosted in a setting that blends wild coastal surroundings with comfortable accommodation. The sea can be reached within a fifteen-minute walk, while a tranquil lake lies five minutes away. Guests will stay in modern ensuite rooms and have access to a sauna and hot tub. The daily rhythm includes coastal walks, gatherings around the fire and structured time away from phones and digital devices.

WildeStar is positioned not as a conventional wellness retreat but as a period of immersion in nature and solitude. Participants spend focused time outdoors without headphones, without constant discussion and without documenting the experience, allowing space for reflection and internal clarity.

“There is an experience you cannot download,” Deborah added. “You cannot think your way into it. You have to walk into it.”

Throughout her career, Deborah has explored how symbolism, psychology and embodied awareness intersect. Living nomadically and walking long stretches of coastal paths have informed the principles behind WildeStar.

She was recently recognised as Most Influential Brand at the Big Business Events awards, reflecting her distinctive approach to leadership learning and immersive personal development.

“Unlike performance-driven retreats focused on optimisation, WildeStar focuses on coherence — the alignment of intuition, strategy, and embodied presence,” she said.

“When constant input is removed, perception sharpens. Decisions change. Clarity becomes a true competitive advantage.”

Deborah is also sharing the broader WildeStar concept through a series of forthcoming webinars for entrepreneurs interested in rethinking leadership and presence.

“This isn’t about stepping back from your work,” she said. “It’s about returning to it with a different quality of presence.”
