Crewe businesses are joining forces to drive donations to an emergency appeal for donations to Polish Integration Support Centre for Ukrainian families.

Social enterprise Donatable is supporting its member Qualkem Ltd to promote an emergency appeal for its Crewe drop off point for the Polish and British Society in Macon Way, Crewe – urgently needed items to be shipped out to support Ukrainian families fleeing the war invasion.

The emergency appeal is for the following items:

  • Foil Survival Blankets
  • Toys
  • Nappies
  • Sanitary Products
  • Crayons
  • Towels
  • First Aid Kits
  • Sleeping Bags
  • Metal Cups

All items can be dropped off at Qualkem Limited, Macon Way, Crewe CW1 6YU from 2pm today (Monday 28th February).

Rachel Williams from Donatable comments:  “We need to reach as many people as possible to support this terrible humanitarian crisis.  Please drop off as many items as you can and we’re also appealing for donations to the JustGiving page as it costs £1,000 to transport each lorry full of emergency supplies.”

You can donate to the emergency appeal here:  https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/anna-buckley-334

Donatable is a social enterprise that brings businesses and local community groups together to react to a community need. The social enterprise is urging all its members and the community to get involved and support Qualkem’s appeal in Crewe.
