PRIVATE BEDROOMS RELEASED AT BRAMHALL CARE HOME

Due to increasing demand, a care home in Bramhall has made 21 of its private ground floor bedrooms available to local families looking for exceptional care for a loved one.

Located on Hardy Drive, Bramhall Manor is an award winning care home that excels in general 24-hour nursing care and has worked in partnership with Stockport NHS Foundation Trust during the recent Covid pandemic to care for those well enough to leave Stepping Hill Hospital but not quite able to fully care for themselves at home.

The partnership has been instrumental in helping the local NHS deal with the increase in hospital admissions during the pandemic and also during the busy winter months.

With the crisis easing slightly, Bramhall Manor has taken the decision to release a number of its beautiful private bedrooms and make them available to families who have been waiting patiently to secure the very best local round-the-clock care for a loved one.

Situated on the ground floor, each bedroom is comfortable, welcoming and fully furnished benefitting from a private en suite wet room and French doors that offer lovely views to the garden and easy access to an outdoor patio area with garden furniture.

With a waiting list taking shape, it is expected that rooms will be taken quickly, but interested families are still encouraged to make contact as New Care also has a select number of private rooms at Cheadle Manor, its sister property on Stockport Road in Cheadle.

Commissioning director at New Care, Dawn Collett, said: “Over the last two years, the team at Bramhall Manor has worked tirelessly to help ease the pressure on the local NHS, offering a much needed and viable solution to the shortfall of hospital beds during the pandemic.  We’re now releasing a number of our desirable rooms to private residents needing residential or nursing care, and look forward to welcoming new residents to our friendly community.

Bramhall Manor offers outstanding residential, dementia and 24 nursing care in a safe, secure home-from-home environment.

Dawns adds: “Unlike some care homes in the locality, our nursing team is available around the clock to support residents and assist with their longer term requirements as their individual care needs change over time, making Bramhall Manor a true home for life for residents.”

One of the UK’s leading care home operators, New Care boasts an award winning portfolio of ‘new generation’ care facilities including two in the borough of Stockport; 71-bed Bramhall Manor on Hardy Drive in the centre of Bramhall and 68-bed Cheadle Manor on Stockport Road just a short walk away from Cheadle village.

Both homes have an enviable reputation for outstanding residential, dementia and 24-hour nursing care that is second to none.  For further information or to enquire about a private room at Bramhall Manor, please call 0161 549 9651 or visit www.newcarehomes.com.
