Norfolk Drainage Company Introduces New Identity Following Name Change to AM Drainage Services

KING’S LYNN, UK. October 27, 2026: A Stow Bridge business specialising in blocked drains, septic tanks and emergency drainage repairs has updated its company name to better represent the services customers rely on. AM Waste Management Ltd has become AM Drainage Services Ltd, replacing its former identity with one that directly reflects its day-to-day operations across King’s Lynn and nearby communities.

Although the company was established in 2025, its director, Alex Manning, brings drainage industry experience dating from 2016. The business concentrates exclusively on drainage-related work rather than general waste management.

“The old name never told anyone what we actually do,” said Alex Manning, director of AM Drainage Services. “We unblock drains and empty septic tanks, day and night. Now the name on the van says that.”

The company specialises in responding to blocked drains at residential and commercial premises. Its emergency drainage service operates around the clock, seven days a week, with availability extending to nights, weekends and public holidays.

To address drainage problems, the team uses high-pressure water jetting to clear obstructions. Dye testing is carried out to verify that the affected drainage run is clear, while CCTV surveys help identify damage that may not be visible from the surface.

Pricing is agreed with customers before work starts. There are no hidden fees or additional overnight callout premiums, meaning the charge remains consistent regardless of whether assistance is required during the day or in the early hours. Same-day emergency attendance is available, often within a matter of hours.

Alongside emergency drainage work, AM Drainage Services provides commercial grease trap management for hospitality venues and care facilities. Routine emptying contracts help pubs, restaurants, hotels and care homes keep kitchen drainage systems functioning. Garages and forecourts can also arrange oil and petrol interceptor cleaning.

The company’s rural drainage services include scheduled and emergency septic tank emptying, septic tank installations and replacements, and maintenance for sewage treatment plants and pump stations serving properties outside the mains sewer network.

“Ring us and you get me, not a call centre,” Manning said. “Same lads, same number. If you’ve got it saved, it still works.”

The three-person operation has two service vans equipped for drainage work and two tankers, enabling one vehicle to remain available when emergencies arise. The company also owns excavation equipment and undertakes digging and repair work directly rather than depending on machinery hire providers.

Registered with the Environment Agency as an upper-tier waste carrier, AM Drainage Services holds registration number CBDU671712. Its reputation is supported by more than 90 five-star customer reviews on Google.

The name change is accompanied by updated contact information. Customers can now use [email protected], and the company’s website is moving to amdrainageservices.co.uk.

AM Drainage Services covers a service radius of approximately 15 to 20 miles around Stow Bridge, including King’s Lynn, Downham Market, Hunstanton, Wisbech and villages throughout the surrounding area.

For blocked drains, septic tank services or other drainage enquiries, telephone 01553 606699 or email [email protected].
