Furniture Sector’s Invitation: “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul”

Marking the end of 2023 with around $740 billion, global leaders in the furniture industry are preparing to converge at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair from 23rd to 28th January. This event, revered as one of the traditional and prestigious gatherings in the sector, expects to draw the attention of 200,000 professionals from across the globe.

The global furniture industry is assembling for the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF2024), scheduled from 23rd to 28th January. This prestigious event, a joint venture of TUYAP Fair Organisation Group and Mos Fair Organisation, supported by the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), anticipates hosting 200,000 industry experts from 200 countries. More than a thousand companies, representing 3,000 brands, are set to exhibit at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center.

As a flagship event in the furniture industry, the fair, themed “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul,” will present the most innovative 2024 designs from diverse product categories to its visitors.

“We continue to produce with over 45,000 manufacturers”

“In our annually growing sector, we are committed to consistently offering the best products. This has established us as one of the global leaders in furniture manufacturing. With over 45,000 manufacturers, we continue our production across all product ranges. In crafting influential, high-quality designs, we engage with our stakeholders through IIFF and demonstrate our industry prowess. We invite the whole sector to our fair, where the furniture trends for 2024 will be on display,” Ahmet Güleç, President of MOSFED, the supporter of IIFF and the Turkish furniture sector’s leading organisation, remarked.

“We organise one of the world’s largest furniture fairs”

Highlighting IIFF’s global stature, İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tuyap Fairs Organisation, commented:

“Hosting a fair across various venues in our sector is a distinctive global initiative. Yet, Tuyap has managed to successfully organise the third iteration of IIFF at both the Tuyap Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center, finalising all essential preparations. We’re orchestrating one of the largest furniture fairs globally. Our contribution to the country’s and sector’s export figures is considerably vital. At IIFF2024, we aim to bring together 200,000 business people from various countries with 3,000 brands, leveraging our international offices and extensive network. We warmly invite all interested to participate in Istanbul’s largest sectoral gathering.”

Fostering a Dynamic Environment for New Partnerships

According to ResearchAndMarkets, the global furniture sector, closing 2023 at $739.44 billion, is anticipated to reach $935.9 billion by 2027. Türkiye, with a yearly production worth $12 billion, will play host to its international partners. The IIFF will display a wide range of furniture, including modern modular, luxury, beds and bases, baby and children’s, youth room, garden, office-school furniture, and accessories.

IIFF2024, running for six days, plans to arrange the exhibition halls at the Istanbul Fair Center and Tuyap Fair and Congress Center by product categories. This will provide visitors with the opportunity to closely examine a broad spectrum of products. Additionally, the fair is designed to create a dynamic setting that encourages new collaborations.
