Five promotions made at property consultancy

A leading property consultancy has announced five promotions in the North West.

Fisher German has promoted Alex Broad to associate partner, Katie Turner and David Simpson Jones to senior surveyor and Toby Gale-Hasleham to senior sales negotiator at the firm’s Chester office, while in Liverpool, Gabriel Davies has been promoted to associate.

The promotions are among 46 that Fisher German has made across its 26 offices after a strong six months for the firm.

Chartered building surveyor Alex Broad joined Fisher German in 2012 and now leads a team of building surveyors in the North West. He undertakes all types of building surveys, including those for pre-acquisition, forward-planned maintenance, schedule of condition, and party wall and dilapidation purposes and is experienced in
the design and specification of new builds.

He said: “I’m very pleased to receive this promotion in recognition of my work, and I would like to thank the firm for its continued support. It is also fantastic to see a number of other colleagues across the North West have their achievements recognised.

“There is currently more opportunity for growth in the North West than ever before, and Fisher German’s merger with Matthews and Goodman in 2022 has enabled us to take on more industrial and commercial work and expand into new areas.

“The growth of the firm overall has enabled us to create bigger teams and work on more national projects than we have historically, and I look forward to supporting the business in its continued success going forward.”

The 46 promotions were made after Fisher German introduced its ‘Grow’ career progression
framework, which gives its colleagues clear guidance on what is needed to progress, and the responsibilities needed at each level of the business.
