Remote Working Fuels Success for Marketing Consultancy

Carrie-Ann Sudlow Consultancy, a boutique marketing agency that has been based in Cheshire since 2008, has seen significant expansion since transitioning to a fully remote and hybrid working structure. Originally founded by Carrie-Ann as an SEO consultant, the agency has grown into a team of 18 specialists across the UK, leading to a 50% revenue increase while improving both productivity and employee well-being.

With professionals based in cities such as Cheshire and London, remote working has provided greater flexibility and career growth opportunities. Mya Ridgway, a senior team member with over eight years at the agency, shared her perspective on how working remotely has improved her efficiency.

“Working remotely has allowed me to focus without the distractions of an office environment, and I’ve found I’m far more productive,” Mya explains. “Although we work remotely, I still meet up with my colleagues often, which keeps our team spirit strong.”

Carrie-Ann Sudlow Consultancy is well regarded for its expertise in SEO, social media, and Google Ads, offering essential services such as:

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Enhancing online visibility to generate more organic traffic and improve rankings.
  • Social Media Management: Designing engaging campaigns to build brand awareness and foster customer loyalty across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Google Ads: Creating targeted advertising campaigns to improve brand reach, attract new clients, and optimise marketing spend.

Despite operating remotely, the team remains highly collaborative through the use of digital tools, virtual meetings, and regular face-to-face meetups. As Mya points out, the agency’s remote approach continues to strengthen both efficiency and teamwork.

“Even though we’re based all over the UK, we make sure to meet up often to stay connected,” Mya says. “It’s one of the things I love most about working here—the balance between independence and teamwork.”

A senior team member highlighted the advantages of this flexible work model:

“Our remote and hybrid working model has been a game-changer for everyone on the team. We’ve found that this flexibility allows us to be more creative and productive while staying connected to our clients and each other.”

Moving forward, the consultancy remains committed to client success, employee well-being, and continuous innovation in digital marketing. With a strong remote-first strategy in place, Carrie-Ann Sudlow Consultancy is set for continued growth.
