New CTO Joins Founding Team at Find My Surveyor as Platform Scales Nationally

Find My Surveyor has announced the appointment of Ryan Osman as its Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. Osman now joins original co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Jack Purdie, as the business prepares to scale its UK footprint.

The leadership update follows a strong first year of growth, with demand rising quickly among homebuyers seeking a more transparent and streamlined approach to commissioning survey work. Osman’s role will focus on scaling the platform’s technical capabilities and optimising the user journey.

Launched to modernise the often frustrating process of arranging building surveys, Find My Surveyor has differentiated itself from traditional comparison sites by focusing on customer experience, quality assurance, and digital innovation. While many platforms rely on selling user data to multiple surveyors, often resulting in aggressive sales calls and a race to the lowest price, Find My Surveyor connects users to a single, trusted, RICS-certified local surveyor offering their best available price.

Driving this service is the bespoke OneQuote booking system, which reviews customer requirements such as survey type, location and timeframes to provide one accurate, tailored quote without competing calls or price pressure.

“Our goal is to build the most trusted and efficient route to survey services in the UK,” said Jack Purdie. “With Ryan joining as CTO and co-founder, we now have the technical leadership in place to accelerate development and deliver that at scale.”

Osman brings substantial experience in engineering scalable platforms and has already delivered major upgrades to the system’s technical architecture. The website’s structure and booking flow have also been rebuilt to support larger user volumes and a wider range of surveying services.

Today, the platform offers more than 15 different survey options, including specialist areas such as asbestos reporting, fire safety assessments, CCTV drain surveys, home condition reporting and the full suite of RICS Level 2 and Level 3 services.

“This industry has been underserved by technology for too long,” said Osman. “We’re giving homeowners a modern, straightforward way to get expert survey advice without the hassle or confusion that’s traditionally been part of the process.”

Looking ahead, Find My Surveyor plans to expand its surveyor network, invest further in automation and elevate expectations across the surveying comparison sector. The business continues to build a reputation for transparency, simplicity and modern service delivery.
