Critical Cloud achieves first-ever “Powered by Datadog” accreditation worldwide

Critical Cloud has become the first company globally to secure the “Powered by Datadog” designation, marking a significant milestone for its managed service model built around Datadog (NASDAQ: DDOG). The accreditation reflects its use of Datadog as a core operational platform across Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

The “Powered by Datadog” programme represents a high-level partner recognition, awarded to organisations that have deeply embedded Datadog within their services while demonstrating excellence in technical implementation and customer onboarding. Candidates are subject to detailed technical assessments conducted by Datadog teams, evaluating architecture, governance, onboarding processes and live deployments.

Attaining this recognition requires partners to hold Certified Datadog Advanced Partner status and demonstrates Critical Cloud’s capability to use Datadog as the backbone of its managed services. This enables clients to improve system reliability, reduce downtime and accelerate troubleshooting through a single observability platform.

The company delivers monitoring, management and optimisation services across AWS and Azure platforms, with Datadog serving as its primary solution for observability, incident management, security and cost control. By standardising on one platform, Critical Cloud provides a consistent and unified operational view, removing complexity and reducing time to resolution.

Datadog is included as an integral part of the service for all customers. Running the platform across multiple production environments enables Critical Cloud to build operational expertise that directly enhances the services it delivers.

“‘Powered by Datadog’ recognises that Datadog is not just a tool we deploy, but the foundation of how we run modern cloud operations. Being the world’s first partner to achieve this accreditation highlights our team’s deep expertise and focus on delivering reliable cloud platforms for our customers.”

– James Smith, CEO, Critical Cloud

“Critical Cloud has demonstrated strong technical capability and a consistent ability to deliver successful ‘Powered by Datadog’ managed services. Its experience operating Datadog across multiple customer environments positions it well to support organisations looking to standardise on Datadog.”

– Mark Fortune, Area Vice President, EMEA, Datadog

With its “Powered by Datadog” offering, Critical Cloud supports organisations from initial onboarding and architecture planning through to ongoing operations and optimisation, delivering improved reliability, faster issue resolution and comprehensive visibility across their technology environments.

About Critical Cloud Critical Cloud is an award-winning cloud managed service provider specialising in AWS and Azure environments for tech-led businesses.
