CV Hubs Launches Easier Buying Process for Truck Wheel Hubs with No Upfront Deposits

CV Hubs & Bearings has introduced two major updates intended to improve the purchasing experience for workshops, fleet operators and motor factors throughout the UK. Customers no longer have to pay surcharge deposits when buying new wheel hubs or hub kits, and can also earn account credits of up to £50 through a newly introduced core return programme.

The company’s latest changes remove the traditional surcharge system that has long been associated with commercial vehicle replacement parts. Instead of paying an additional refundable amount when placing an order, customers can now buy new wheel hubs without any upfront surcharge, making purchasing quicker, simpler and easier to manage.

In addition, CV Hubs now rewards customers who return qualifying used wheel hubs through its new rebate scheme. Following inspection, approved Volvo, Renault and DAF wheel hubs can qualify for account credits worth up to £50.

Customers returning used hubs simply attach the supplied return tag, prepare the pallet for collection and arrange pickup with the CV Hubs team. Approved returns receive rebate credits once inspection has been completed.

The company has also produced inspection guidance covering eligible Volvo, Renault and DAF wheel hubs. Units showing standard wear, surface corrosion or worn ABS rings will usually qualify if the casting has not suffered structural damage.

Simon Blair, Director at CV Hubs & Bearings, commented: “We’ve listened to our customers and this change is a direct response to their feedback. Surcharges have been an industry norm for a long time, but they add friction to what should be a straightforward transaction. By removing that upfront requirement entirely, we’re making it simpler and faster for workshops and fleet operators to get the wheel hubs they need. And with our new core rebate programme, customers can still benefit financially from returning serviceable hubs. It’s a better deal all round.”

The combined changes remove unnecessary administration while continuing to encourage customers to return serviceable components through the rebate programme.

CV Hubs supplies wheel hubs, hub kits and associated components for DAF, Volvo, Renault, Mercedes, Scania, MAN and Iveco commercial vehicles, supported by next day delivery across the UK.
