STOURBRIDGE, UK, October 8, 2026: Building on a career spanning more than 30 years in nursing, healthcare and education, Dr Nicky Westwood is taking Aesthetic Balance into its next phase of growth with the acquisition of Wollaston Beauty Clinic. The move supports her ambition to create a Wellness Hub that combines aesthetics, beauty, health, wellbeing and education, with the ultimate goal of establishing a leading comprehensive wellness destination in the West Midlands.
Aesthetic Balance and Wollaston Beauty Clinic will operate alongside each other as the wider plans take shape.
The longer-term ambition is to bring a variety of services and professional expertise together within a single wellness concept, offering a broader foundation for the business’s future development.
Plans also extend beyond client services, with education and workforce development expected to play a significant part in the next stage. Dr Nicky hopes to create her own Academy, drawing on the practical and professional knowledge gained during her career in nursing and education.
The Academy would create opportunities to share expertise, nurture professional development and carry forward the principles that have informed her approach to patient care.
Dr Nicky said: “I have spent more than 30 years in nursing, healthcare and education, and this next phase is about bringing that experience together. I want to create something that goes beyond individual treatments and create a place that brings together aesthetics, beauty, health, wellbeing and education, while keeping individualised care at the heart of what we do.”
Dr Nicky established Aesthetic Balance in 2025, following a long career in nursing, healthcare and education. As a registered nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber, she moved into aesthetics in 2024 and opened the clinic in January 2025, turning a longstanding interest in the sector into a dedicated business.
Her move into aesthetics was influenced by the importance of confidence, self-care and the effect these can have on how people feel about themselves.
She added: “For me, aesthetics is about much more than a treatment. People are choosing to invest in themselves, their confidence and their wellbeing, and I want to support them to do that in a way that feels individual and considered. We don’t simply offer treatments or injectables; we take a holistic approach, assessing each person individually and developing treatment plans around what they want to achieve.”
The clinic provides a variety of services for women and men, including anti-ageing treatments, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, vitamin treatments, Map My Mole, WOW Fusion®, WOW Facials®, skin analysis and LED therapy.
Its offering also encompasses women’s and men’s health, with additional packages and events designed to respond to different client requirements.
The planned Wellness Hub will represent an important milestone in the development of Aesthetic Balance. By expanding on the clinic’s current services, the project aims to create a lasting foundation for business growth, education and a more integrated approach to wellbeing.
