Carden Park Estate Unveils Sculpture Garden Spring Exhibition

Cheshire’s Country Estate Carden Park Hotel is delighted to announce the new Spring Sculpture Garden Exhibition for March 2022. Curated by Grant Ford, BBC’s Antiques Roadshow expert and Fine Art curator, the Sculpture Garden is set against the stunning backdrop of Cheshire’s 1000-acre luxury estate, with additional works also exhibited within the hotel. Each unique piece will be available to buy through Grantfordltd.com, with prices starting from £1,000 to £320,000 (exc. VAT).

First opened in August 2021, entry to the Sculpture Garden is free and visitors will be welcome to view the works by leading sculptors and artists at both the Sculpture Garden and inside the Carden Park Hotel. Suitable for the whole family as well as art enthusiasts to enjoy, every visit will be a new experience with changing exhibits throughout the year. Guests can continue their visit to Carden Park by enjoying luxurious afternoon tea, planning an adventure filled trip to the Vertigo aerial course, play a round of golf on one of the two championship golf courses, or indulge in a Spa Day at the multi-award winning Spa at Carden Park.

Grant Ford states; “As winter transitions into spring and fresh green shoots burst up from the ground with energetic life, new exciting exhibits by leading British and Irish artists arrive at The Sculpture Garden at Carden Park. We are anticipating a very exciting and busy season ahead, with a number of events already in the calendar. Keep an eye on the ever changing exhibits at Carden Park!”

The Spring Exhibition

Grant Ford explains; “New exhibits include two bronzes by the internationally renowned sculptor Hamish Mackie, two colourful and eye-catching works influenced by ‘Googie’ movement by Gareth Griffiths and larger stone carvings by the highly talented sculptor Michael Thacker. Matt Duke has also added two fabulous intuitive and imaginative bronzes of a Barn Owl and a Poised Cat to the garden and Sam Wray Easton’s bold, colourful and contemplative paintings can be seen inside the hotel.”
