Sixth year for five-star Bellway in Cheshire

Results released yesterday [23 March] by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) have awarded Bellway a 5 Star Rating in customer satisfaction for the sixth consecutive year.

Currently building high quality new homes across Cheshire, the housebuilder achieved a score of over 90 per cent which signifies that more than nine in 10 of its customers would recommend the developer to a friend.

The prestigious accolade of HBF 5 Star Rating is given to companies who achieve a 90 per cent or higher rating in the annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. This takes a snapshot of the views of customers moving into new-build homes in the past 12 months.

Having sold the final properties at its prestigious Heatherly Wood development at Alderley Park in Nether Alderley, Bellway is working on other beautiful developments across Cheshire including King’s Quarter in Macclesfield, Copperfields in Poynton, Park Gate Village in Knutsford and, coming soon, Weaver Green in Henbury.

Stuart Gray, Managing Director of Bellway Manchester, said: “To have achieved a sixth successive HBF five-star rating is a huge feat for everyone at Bellway, and is testament to the dedication of our team, and quality of our product and customer service, in a year which has had obvious challenges for the industry in the face of the pandemic.

“Our ‘customer first’ approach means that everything we do within the business is focused on the end result for our buyers, who are the lifeblood of the company, and we feel vindicated in our ethos having achieved a score of over 90 per cent once again in the Customer Satisfaction Survey which covers the past 12 months.

“We continue to work hard across the region to deliver an even better customer experience year-on-year and we must give a huge thanks to all our staff and suppliers across the division who help us achieve accolades such as this one. We look forward to congratulating all our site teams within the Manchester division for their efforts in the near future.”

First time buyers Tiffany Jayne and David Williams, who have recently moved into a Bellway home at King’s Quarter in Macclesfield are just one of the hundreds who have enjoyed a positive customer experience with the housebuilder in the past year.

David said: “Buying from Bellway was a dream, Debbie in the on-site sales office was there every step of the way and has become a good friend.  She constantly kept us updated and was always there if we had any questions or needed any reassurance or advice, she truly is a credit to the Bellway team and we were so grateful for her support.”
