20 Stories invites guests to join them in their ‘Nyetimber Vineyard in the Sky’ this Summer

20 Stories have transformed the 19th floor of No.1 Spinningfields into a stunning vineyard in the sky for the duration of Summer in partnership with world renowned English Sparkling Wine, Nyetimber.

Manchester’s highest restaurant will welcome guests to join them on the terrace overlooking Manchester’s ever-expanding skyline to experience their installation designed by the 20 Stories team and Springbank. The installation takes inspiration from vineyards in the South of England where Nyetimber grapes are grown.

The terrace will be filled with grape vines to transport guests into the British countryside whilst enjoying a glass of Nyetimber watching the sunset across Manchester.

The drinks menu will consist of a choice of Nyetimber Rosé Classic Cuvee, Cuvee Chérie, Blancs de Blanc, Prestige Cuvee 1086 or Prestige Cuvee 1086 Rosé.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a brand-new Terrace Menu, which will be perfectly paired to the Nyetimber range. From small plates to burgers, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Amongst these, we can find Lemon, Basil & Mozzarella Arancini with Romesco Sauce (perfectly paired with Classic Cuvee) or Chickpea & Coriander Falafel with Herb Yoghurt (to be enjoyed with Blanc de Blancs) just to name a few.

Natasha Davies, Marketing Manager at D&D London said: “We are really looking forward to partnering with Nyetimber this year for our Summer Terrace. 20 Stories Terrace has become a firm favourite in Manchester with views across the city and we are looking forward to welcoming guests to sample some of our incredible Nyetimber drinks as well as a selection of 20 Stories food platters.”

The Nyetimber team commented: “We are delighted to partner with 20 Stories this summer and bring the terrace to life with vines and florals inspired by our vineyards in the South of England. The ‘Vineyard in the Sky’ will be a sparkling summer destination to treat friends and family to a delicious glass of English Sparkling Wine whilst sitting amongst a canopy of vines and taking in the views of the city.”

For over 30 years, Nyetimber has had a single aim: to make the finest English Sparkling Wine, one to rival the very best in the world. A true pioneer, Nyetimber was the first producer of English Sparkling Wine to exclusively grow the three celebrated grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Nyetimber is made from one hundred percent estate-grown grapes and is regarded as England’s finest sparkling wine. Owner and Chief Executive Eric Heerema and winemaker Cherie Spriggs are committed to producing wines of exceptional quality. #PerfectlyBritish #Nyetimber.

The terrace will launch officially on 20th July and is open for guests to walk in at their leisure.
