“Hotels, restaurants and attractions are facing these challenges while also trying to focus on the likes of keeping great employees, driving sustainable profitability and manging their environmental impact.

“These two events will bring leisure businesses together to look at ways of tackling these challenges as well as growing and developing.”

Graham Donoghue, CEO of Sykes Holiday Cottages, said: “We look forward to meeting new faces from across the UK tourism and travel industry in October as we prepare to host two separate events at our Chester HQ.

“From one event discussing the challenges and opportunities on the horizon for the tourism sector post-pandemic, to another exploring how UK travel businesses can grow both successfully and sustainably, these events will see industry insiders come together to debate these vital topics and inspire each other on what lies ahead.”

Katrina Kerr, chair of Chester BID, said: “Thanks to Sykes we are able to hold two free event for tourism professionals in the North West and North Wales. It’s a great opportunity to discuss the future for tourism in our area.”
