Lotus Bakeries Ltd acquires new space 51 Water Lane, Wilmslow

Colliers’ North West National Offices team has gained 4,449 sq ft of high-quality modern office space at the newly refurbished 51 Water Lane, Wilmslow, on behalf of Lotus Bakeries UK Ltd on a 10-year lease with a five-year break.

Lotus Bakeries, the Belgian biscuit company, founded in 1932, with its headquarters in Lembeke, Belgium, will be relocating its UK Head Office from its current premises at Regus, Aviator Way, Wythenshawe, Manchester, to help support its business growth plans across the UK.

51 Water Lane is a detached purpose-built office building occupying a highly prominent position in the heart of Wilmslow town centre next to the Aston Martin dealership, which is a particular draw for the town, and is within 100 metres of the primary retail area along Grove Street.

Conor Walmsley, senior surveyor in the National Offices team at Colliers commented: “In advising our client on their relocation, Colliers wanted to ensure that the office space acquired would provide the business with a stimulating working environment.
