Storio Group Initiates a New Phase with Brand Revamp and Leadership Transition to Drive Future Expansion

The entity previously known as albelli-Photobox Group, the umbrella for Photobox UK and Bonusprint, has been rebranded to Storio group, signaling a pivotal shift in the European personalised photo product industry. With a solid revenue base exceeding EUR 340M and a dedicated customer following of over 11 million, this rebranding is synchronised with a significant leadership change, seeing Alessandro Coppo taking the CEO mantle from Tristan Money as of 8th February 2024. This strategic pivot is a key element of a two-year post-merger strategy centred around integration, innovation, and growth.

This transformative journey was announced at a vibrant internal launch event, broadcast live across Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona, bringing together the company’s European workforce in a unified, digital celebration. This event marked the beginning of a promising new chapter for Storio group, celebrated across all its European bases.

After a commendable nine-year leadership stint, culminating in the successful merger with Photobox in January 2022, Tristan Money passed on the leadership baton to Alessandro Coppo.

With a rich background spanning 25 years, including notable periods at Boston Consulting Group and eBay, Alessandro Coppo is poised to guide Storio group into an exhilarating future. His tenure at eBay, which saw the Classifieds Group’s revenues soar from $300M to over $1B, underscores his strategic acumen in fostering connections through innovative technology and crafting secure, enjoyable commerce experiences, resonating with Storio group’s aspirations and ethos.

In his new role, Alessandro is determined to enhance the strong foundations set by Tristan and the team, with the vision of transforming Storio group into a leading, cherished brand that connects people with their most meaningful moments.

The rebranding to Storio group marks the company’s evolution and its commitment to creating lasting experiences. This rebranding reflects the company’s dedication to ongoing growth and innovation within its sector. Central to the Storio group’s new identity is the purpose statement “To Make Joy Unforgettable,” capturing its mission to turn special customer moments into enduring memories.

Alessandro Coppo shared his enthusiasm about his new position, “It’s a thrilling time to lead a company that sits at the intersection of digital and physical realms and whose products have a deep level of emotional connection with its customers. Our commitment to innovation and personal connection is unique, and I look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by Tristan and the team. Our new brand identity and values will be central to our commitment to customers and employees.”

Since the merger of albelli and Photobox Group 2 years ago, we have worked diligently to integrate our operations and set a clear path for the future. Alessandro’s experience and vision align perfectly with Storio group’s mission, vision, purpose, values, and proposition.”

Under its new guise and leadership, Storio group is set to fortify its market stance, introducing innovative offerings to amplify customer experiences and foster growth, aligned with its redefined purpose, values, and EVP.
