Transform Healthcare introduces new CEO and launches ambitious 10-point plan for innovation

Transform Healthcare, recognised as one of the foremost providers of Cosmetic Surgery in the UK and a leader in Bariatric Surgery across Europe, has ushered in new leadership by appointing a new CEO. The company boasts two modern hospitals in Manchester and Bromsgrove, signalling a shift towards a new phase of innovation and expansion under fresh guidance.

The announcement introduces Dr. Sayani Sainudeen as the new CEO, coinciding with the launch of a robust 10-point plan that aims to revolutionise healthcare delivery within the UK.

Dr. Sainudeen succeeds Tony Veverka, sharing, “I express my gratitude to Tony Veverka for his exemplary leadership and tireless dedication to Transform Healthcare”.

Tony Veverka will maintain a connection to the business in a consultative role, whilst also managing significant initiatives at Y1 Capital, the parent company of Transform Healthcare.

Transform Healthcare, with a storied legacy extending over five decades, has consistently led the way in the realms of cosmetic and bariatric surgery. Yet, the disruptions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and shifts in the market landscape have prompted a strategic reevaluation. Under the direction of Dr. Sainudeen, the company is set to navigate through these changes towards a pinnacle of excellence.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Dr. Sainudeen added: “I am thrilled to join the Transform Healthcare family and to lead our team through this transformative journey. Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to modernise our services, enhance patient experiences, and drive sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving landscape.”

The centrepiece of the transformation plan is a dedication to improving the affordability, accessibility, and quality of care. This encompasses a comprehensive overhaul of pricing models and significant investments in the latest facilities and technologies, with a sweeping review of all company operations.

“We recognise the importance of delivering value to our patients while maintaining the highest standards of care,” noted Dr. Sainudeen. “By optimising costs, standardising processes, and introducing new services, we aim to create a healthcare experience that is second to none.”

Highlighting a focus on patient-centric care, Dr. Sainudeen added: “The service needs to be delivered around the needs of the patient and that will be a key priority”.

His strategy includes immersive involvement in all departments to intimately understand the company’s operations.

Key initiatives in Dr. Sainudeen’s plan encompass:

  • Competitive Pricing and Simplified Structures: An exhaustive review of pricing to ensure market competitiveness and transparency.
  • Enhanced Client Experiences: The introduction of premium service options and the streamlining of procedures for a frictionless patient experience.
  • Expansion of Service Offerings and Locations: The rollout of new, in-demand services and broadening the company’s reach to enhance accessibility.

As Transform Healthcare embarks on this ambitious journey, it reiterates its commitment to its foundational values of excellence, integrity, and empathy. With strategic investments, enhancements in operations, and an unwavering focus on patient-first care, Transform Healthcare is set to reshape the healthcare landscape.

Dr. Sainudeen added: “We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and remain steadfast in our commitment to serving our patients and communities. Together, we will build a healthier, brighter future for all.”

Armed with a clear vision, a dedicated team, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Transform Healthcare is poised to establish new standards in healthcare and positively impact lives.
