Kerry Daynes Recognised at Glamorous Cheshire Business Awards

On Friday, 15th November, Cranage Hall in Cheshire played host to an evening of glitz and glamour as the Cheshire Business Awards brought together the finest representatives of the local business community. This year’s Hollywood Glamour theme included appearances from iconic “star guests” such as Laurel & Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, and Marilyn Monroe, adding a touch of vintage charm to the festivities.

Joanna Scott-Aspray, the founder of the awards and CEO of The Cheshire Club, described the event as “a celebration of excellence, resilience, and local entrepreneurial spirit.”

“I connect people year-round and specialise in growth and visibility, so I’m thrilled to of welcomed so many exceptional business owners and given them this platform not only to be visible but also to raise their confidence and create new aspirations for 2025. We celebrated the best of the best, inspiring others and honouring the tireless work and dedication of our local entrepreneurs,” she said.

Joanna also acknowledged the support from Sarah and Nick Bianchi of Arighi Bianchi and others, saying: “It’s a privilege to have such amazing support and to raise funds and awareness for this year’s charity, East Cheshire Hospice.”

Sarah Bianchi, CEO of Arighi Bianchi, praised the occasion, saying: “The Crème de la Crème Awards was a wonderful evening, full of positivity and inspiration. A true celebration of the individuals, the businesses and the unsung heroes contributing so much the Cheshire business community.”

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Overall Excellence Award. The unanimous decision by all three judges recognised Claire Steele of A Stroke of Magic Hair and Beauty for her charitable contributions and tireless work. A mother of four, Claire provides areola tattoos to breast cancer patients in honour of her late mother. Speechless upon receiving the award, Claire’s efforts continue to make an immeasurable difference in the lives of many.
