US and UK-based behavioural analytics company Youtility has announced the appointment of Vijay Perincherry as Chief Data Scientist. With over twenty years of experience in data analytics, he will lead Youtility’s data strategy as it continues to provide behavioural insights to financial institutions and aggregators.
Perincherry’s appointment reflects Youtility’s mission to combine scientific expertise with behavioural understanding to deliver actionable insights across financial ecosystems.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and Ph.D. holder from the University of Delaware, Perincherry has held influential roles in data science leadership. Most recently, he served as Chief Data Scientist at Indiggo, where he developed intelligent decision-making frameworks to enhance operational focus for enterprise clients.
Before joining Indiggo, he co-founded Discourse Analytics, spending over a decade as Chief Science Officer developing innovative, personalised digital engagement models for higher education. A respected figure in the ethical AI community, Perincherry continues to serve as an advisor to multiple organisations committed to responsible technology.

As Chief Data Scientist, Perincherry leads Youtility’s data strategy, advancing the company’s proprietary behavioural models and predictive analytics frameworks. His focus will be on enhancing the platform’s ability to process behavioural signals from actual human interactions and translate them into actionable intelligence that drives measurable business outcomes across the customer lifecycle.

Launched in 2024 with its first client Santander, Youtility partners with institutions across US and UK markets to deliver behavioural intelligence for customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
