The Firs School, Chester hosts anti-bullying training run by The Diana Award charity

The charity The Diana Award – is to run one of its highly sought-after Anti-Bullying Programme training sessions at The Firs School in Chester. The full day’s training will take part on the 26th January 2023.

The anti-bullying ambassador programme equips staff and students with the tools needed to tackle bullying behaviour head on and aims to transform school’s approaches to anti-bullying to create safer and kinder school communities. The programme is sponsored by Nationwide Building Society, Facebook and the Department for Education and has a strong peer-to-peer focus, with facilitators giving young people the skills and confidence to become ambassadors to tackle bullying in their schools long after the training has finished.

The training is open schools across UK and Ireland, register you interest here – https://diana-award.org.uk/our-programmes-and-initiatives/anti-bullying/events/anti-bullying-ambassador-training-from-the-diana-award

Rosemary Evans Moore comments: “To date 50,000 young people across the UK and Ireland have been Anti Bullying Ambassador trained. It is so important that we all share and develop best practises in our school and do our part to counter the bullying culture. At The Firs School in Chester we feel passionate about providing a very nurturing environment for our children and by raising awareness and encouraging our children to speak out we aim to help stamp out all forms of bullying for good.
