Pioneers in delivering exceptional business travel management, Corporate Travel Management selected Liverpool’s INNSiDE by Meliá to host their CTM All Stars event – an interactive colleague and supplier conference. The global experts, renowned for providing high-end business travel solutions, headed to Liverpool for a 4-day conference where staff were given the opportunity to hear talks from guest speakers, meet suppliers and participate in annual staff awards.
INNSiDE Liverpool is in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district, easily accessible from Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport and Lime Street station. The hotel offers seven adaptable and diverse meeting spaces, adaptable to meet each business’ bespoke needs. Named in memory of the building’s iconic past as the Liverpool Echo and Daily post building, INNSiDE Liverpool’s Headline Suite operated as the event’s main meeting space. The Headline Suite’s adaptable space and partitions offered CTM flexibility and convenience to host a variety of activities and guest speakers.
INNSiDE Liverpool’s News Room suite and Editorial room were also used as additional breakout spaces. This fluid setup was ideal for CTM as the interconnecting accessible spaces allowed delegates freedom to wander from space to space experiencing talks and sessions that were relevant and of interest to them.
Providing something completely unique, INNSiDE Liverpool’s Big Idea space was used as a creative breakout room. Unique to INNSiDE Hotels, and designed to inspire guest curiosity, the Big Ideas space is a bright and relaxed breakout room which blends work with play. The Big Ideas space features whiteboard walls, smartboards, team games and much more.
State-of-the-art audio-visual technology for the conference was supplied by INNSiDE’s specialist partner MSP Global. MSP Global provided an extensive range of specialist equipment from stage building and set design to PA systems and vision equipment.
Offering elevated meeting and events catering, the CTM conference guests enjoyed bespoke menus from INNSiDE’s Gino D’Acampo Old Hall Street restaurant. As much as CTM’s conference was designed for networking and connection, celebration was also a key component. Freshly baked goods and fine Italian coffee were available throughout the mornings followed by a fresh lunch with a signature soup of the day, deli sandwiches and seasonal salads.
All meetings and events at INNSiDE UK North’s sites, including INNSiDE Liverpool, INNSiDE Manchester and INNSiDE Newcastle, enjoy catering from their onsite Gino D’Acampo team, offering high-quality restaurant gastronomy to delegates. For the evening menu, guests enjoyed a fine Italian-inspired three-course meal, featuring Mushroom Arancini, Calamari, Tomato Bruschetta and Parma Ham Bruschetta to start. Mains include a Pumpkin & Ricotta Ravioli, Chicken Escalopes, Italian Style Cheeseburger, Capricciosa Pizza and a Marsala Pear, Parma Ham & Blue Cheese Salad. To conclude the meal, guests were offered a Chocolate Fondant, Affogato, Gelato or a classic Tiramisu.
After a particularly challenging year for the business travel industry following the Covid-19 pandemic, CTM wanted a space where they could celebrate the company’s continued success. INNSiDE’s impressive Gino D’Acampo’s 360 Sky Bar provided the perfect destination for delegates to relax, unwind and celebrate. Perfect for a private event, the space offered a sophisticated evening drinks reception with light Italian-inspired canapes.
Delegates stayed three nights at INNSiDE Liverpool. The hotel boasts 207 contemporary rooms and suites. The hotel is also equipped with a 24-hour Wellness Suite with state-of-the-art gym equipment ideal for those looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
