What’s On: DogFest 2023 – Full Details Revealed

DogFest 2023 comes to Tatton Park, Cheshire on 17th & 18th June 2023. ManyPets are the official sponsors of DogFest, and will be providing a series of stalls and goody bags at the event.

DogFest plays host to the nation’s favourite dog-friendly festivals in Surrey, Warwickshire, Cheshire, Leicestershire, Hertfordshire and Yorkshire, at some of the UK’s most stunning stately homes. Established in 2014, by award-winning events company Touchpoint Live Media, DogFest has been created by dog-lovers, especially for dog-lovers.

DogFest is the ultimate dog’s day out; you can try your hand (or paw) at a variety of have-a-go activities, enter the Fun Dog Show for the chance to win Best in Show and take part in the Big Dog Walk, a group dog walk around the stately home and gardens. There are also sensational dog displays and canine experts on hand with advice and training tips – who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Plus, there’s loads of stalls, festival food and drink, and more dogs than you can ever imagine.

Full Details

  • The Fun Dog Show: Does your dog have the waggiest tail? Are they the most fabulous fella or loveliest lady? Do you have the dog the judge would most like to take home? With four Fun Dog Show rings and NINE classes to enter, there’s plenty of opportunities for your dog to win a rosette at DogFest – they could even walk away with the coveted ‘Best in Show’ title at the end of the day. The winner of each category will also receive a ManyPets goody bag.
  • Big Dog Walk: Fancy meeting new people on a local dog walk? Big Dog Walk, sponsored by ManyPets, gives you the chance to join thousands of others on a 2km or 4km walk and explore the beautiful grounds with your furry friend. The start times are 11am and 2pm. There will also be a designated quiet walk time which will have limited numbers to allow for a more gentle walk. Plus, you’ll be walking with other like-minded owners who will be respectful of your dogs needs. Designed for young dogs and dogs who love their walkies, but get worried in large crowds.
  • Celebrity Guests and Experts: Bringing together trainers and behaviourists, performers and dog lovers, dog owners should expect a fantastic line-up of celebrities and experts. Last year, guests included Blue Peter’s Matt Baker, ITV’s resident vet Dr. Scott Miller, and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Lucy Heath (with her 5 dancing dogs)
  • Breed Meet-Ups: If you like hanging out with dog pawrents just like you, sharing notes, stories and taking adorable pictures, then this event is for you. Stop by and chat with your fellow pawrents whilst the four-legged family members play, make friends and feel part of the pack. You may even meet some local dog owners to set a play date with and start walking together after DogFest.
  • Dog shopping: Prepare to be spoilt for choice at this year’s DogFest where each event will be packed with over 100 stallholders offering a huge selection of dog related brands, products and services. From Equafleece, Julius K-9, Ruff and Tumble, Earth Animal, JR Pet Products and Pawsome Paws Boutique – DogFest has something for everyone. This year, some of the products will include: Harnesses, collars and leads, cooling coats, jackets and accessories, walking accessories, pet portrait and photography, and much more!

The event runs from 9.30am-5pm on both days of the event, and tickets can be purchased using this link.
