Nantwich Lunch Club – Richmond Villages Hosts Over-70S Event

Richmond Villages Nantwich once again welcomed visitors to its popular lunch event recently, exclusive to those over 70.

The retirement village, on St Joseph’s Way, just off London Road, opened its doors to the public, with visitors sampling the Richmond Villages experience and three tantalising courses for just £10 per head.

The luncheon was the second such event at the Cheshire village following the success of the first in November last year, when over 40 people attended.

While residents and visitors enjoyed their meal, the event also offered a warm space during colder temperatures when more people are spending extended periods in isolation, with those over 70 offered the opportunity to converse over a Richmond Villages meal and a glass of wine.

Another 40-plus turnout was in attendance for this Nantwich lunch club, which was held in the retirement village’s popular Garden Room Restaurant.

Lynne Griffin, Village Manager at Richmond Villages Nantwich said, “It was fantastic to welcome even more new faces to our restaurant, which reflected how popular the lunch clubs have been.

“Welcoming those from the wider Nantwich community and beyond has been great and we hope we have given them a flavour of the Richmond Villages experience.

“Our residents enjoy the events we host and as a village we will always act in their interests by promoting engaging and enjoyable activities.”
