Home Provided for the Wych-Malbank Rotary Club by Cheshire Retirement Village

A retirement village in Nantwich is providing a space for an enthusiastic events group to arrange activities across the town.

The Wych-Malbank Rotary club meets at Richmond Villages Nantwich, helping to raise money for local, national and international charities and organisations.

Just off London Road, the Cheshire retirement village provides the group with weekly use of its Garden Room restaurant, as well as snacks and refreshments, and a base for its events to take place regularly.

The village has recently hosted many intriguing events with the group, including a quiz and hotpot supper, with a ‘Would I Lie to You?’ themed wine event planned for next month.

The Rotary Club is modern and forward-thinking among its genre, focussing on fundraising with an emphasis on making its events fun and engaging.

Its members encompass a wide range of people, with an even mixture of males and females at ages ranging from 20 up to 70.

Nicola Jackson, Senior Village Adviser at Richmond Villages Nantwich and founding member of the Wych-Malbank Rotary (Nantwich) said, “We’re really proud to be the base for the Rotary, a group that really acts in the best interests of the local community.

“We love welcoming such a wonderful group to discuss important topics and events, something I myself am incredibly proud to be a part of.

“The Rotary does so much for the town, and Richmond Villages Nantwich is the perfect base, as the two organisations cherish community spirit immensely.”
