SYKES RETURNS TO TV WITH LATEST PEAKS AD CAMPAIGN

Sykes Holiday Cottages is set to unveil its latest TV advertising campaign on Boxing Day.

Building on its “This Is Your Time” theme from previous years, the 30-second advert will encourage viewers to make every second count – with the tagline “time is more precious than ever.”

The campaign will run until May 2022 and aims to profile the range of staycations on offer with Sykes, reminding holiday-goers of the special moments shared between family and friends on breaks away.

It is part of a wider £1 million advertising investment from the holiday let agency, which also includes a cinema advert, print ads, radio and wider PR and social media support.

Sykes Holiday Cottages’ chief marketing officer, James Shaw, said: “Our customers are eager to get themselves back out there and spend time in the places they want and with the people they love.

“We return to North Wales in our latest ad to capture some of those special family moments against some stunning scenery, showcasing activities and adventures people can enjoy on a Sykes staycation.”

Alongside the full advert, Sykes is also releasing a 20 and 10 second version. All three include a call to action to download the Sykes app.

The advert has been created by Hurricane and was filmed in locations across North Wales.

John Lanyon, Creative Director of Hurricane, said: “Working with Sykes to continue the ‘This is Your Time’ theme enabled us to evolve the campaign and take it that one step further.

“The breathtaking scenery of North Wales provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot and helped us capture a feeling of adventure and connection that Sykes customers are looking for in their next UK holiday.”
