Priestley Construction wins luxury residential project in Cheshire

Priestley Construction has been appointed by IP Properties Limited to deliver four luxury homes on the former site of a horse-riding school and stables in the sought-after village of Plumley near Knutsford in Cheshire.

The Leeds-based contractor, part of the Priestley Group, specialises in the delivery of high-quality finishes in all of their residential homes, as well as being experts in refurbishing historic buildings. This project comprises four luxury detached homes in Plumley, Knutsford with a total site size of over 4,000 sq m. Three of the plots will be the creation of homes with 4,122 sq. ft. each, over two floors, with ample space for landscaped gardens, with far reaching country views. The final plot has a total size of 3,767 sq. ft.

This contract win brings Priestley Constructions’ total secured order book in the northwest to £10.5 million.

The former horse-riding school and stables will be replaced with these four luxury homes, designed to blend seamlessly in with the Cheshire countryside. Each home will be a custom build and all properties will feature vast internal spaces.

The Stables is situated in the village Plumley close to Knutsford, one of the top ten places to live in the North West as depicted by the Sunday Times, and commutable distance to both Manchester and Liverpool.

Darryl Brown, head of commercial at Priestley Construction, said “We are delighted to be helping create some wonderful family homes in the idyllic and desired area of Knutsford for our valued client. The detached houses will be of the highest quality and will add to our growing portfolio in the residential sector”

Danny Inman, of IP Properties Ltd., said “We are pleased to award Priestley Construction this contract for this bespoke development in Knutsford. We have worked with the group before, and their delivery of product is exceptional. The site is in excess of over 4000 square metres, and this will be a perfect balance for the four homes due to be created in Plumley”

The construction programme commences in June 2022, with completion expected in Q3 2023.
