Shinobi Capital Acquires Elite Renewables to Expand Access to High-Performance Green Home Upgrades

In a move to scale up its impact in the UK’s retrofit and renewables sector, Shinobi Capital Group has announced its acquisition of Elite Renewables — a specialist in high-efficiency solar and heating systems.

The acquisition aligns with Shinobi’s mission to create a national network of retrofit companies offering reliable, future-proof low-carbon solutions. The timing is ideal, with soaring demand for clean energy installations and government support schemes such as the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme making home upgrades more accessible.

For over a decade, Elite Renewables has delivered complex, high-performance energy systems to luxury residential properties across London and the South East. Its offerings include air source heat pumps, solar PV, MVHR, battery systems, and EV charging — with system efficiency regularly exceeding 400%, a rare and respected achievement in the sector.

Advancing the UK’s Green Energy Landscape
Now part of Shinobi’s expanding portfolio, Elite joins other trusted brands including The Retrofitters, which focuses on insulation and whole-home solutions, and Pyramid Eco, which supports both private and social housing clients.

The company will continue trading under the Elite Renewables name, with existing leadership and daily operations unaffected. Shinobi will provide strategic support to enhance digital growth, streamline operations, and expand market reach.

Tim Cameron-Kitchen, founder of Shinobi Capital Group, commented:
“Elite Renewables is one of the most technically capable and well-respected businesses in the heat pump and solar space. Their commitment to long-term performance, attention to detail, and service quality make them exactly the kind of company we want to support. Their track record of some truly extraordinary projects makes this one of the most exciting renewables businesses in the UK.

“Together, we will build on that strong foundation and help more people across the UK upgrade their homes with confidence.”

Driving Innovation with Integrity
The acquisition is underpinned by a shared belief in delivering more than just clean energy — the focus is on building trust, ensuring performance, and helping homeowners make confident, informed choices. With millions of UK properties in need of energy upgrades, quality-driven, consumer-focused brands like Elite Renewables are vital to meeting national sustainability goals.

This move strengthens Shinobi Capital’s long-term vision of becoming the go-to name for reliable and results-driven retrofit services across the country.

Tim Cameron-Kitchen added:
“We believe the next chapter of the green transition belongs to companies that combine technical excellence with trust, education, and exceptional service,”
“Elite Renewables embodies all of that.”
